Save the date for a meeting on March 30th...

Tom Kenworthy has arranged for Jude Pelchat from Annenberg to meet with the Community Involvement Steering Committee on March 30th at 6:00 pm. Cindy Chabot will be contacting each of the members of the Steering Committee early in the week to set up the meeting time.

Hello Everyone,

Great news, I am looking forward to the meeting. I have read the Annenberg Report and I am interested in learning more about the details involved in success in terms of specific policies and practices. For instance, some school districts/schools develop brochures to inform the community about their efforts and successes. I have never seen this in RI but some sort of marketing piece might be helpful to consider as we embark on these community conversations. Also, the sample practices in the Epstein framework could be a place to start.

How do we use the framework to target parent/community engagement strategies and cultivate growth along the continuum?
